I am a parent of three children, two of which attend Stratford Central. Along with my husband we were volunteers at our children's elementary school. I continue to attend parent/council meetings at their …present school. I have a background in Chemistry and have worked in factories in Stratford and Listowel. As someone who has not worked in the school system, I can offer an fresh perspective. I strongly believe in the importance of surveys and focus groups to bring a variety of voices to the board. More

I have been involved in Education with AMDSB since 1976, as a teacher, department head, councillor, vice principal, principal, and director of international schools. During my years involved in education …I have had the opportunity to work in schools in five countries, pre-school to grade twelve, public and private. I am running for the position of Trustee with AMDSB, in Stratford, Ontario, so that I can give my time and broad prospective in education to help maintain a strong public school system. More
